By now you have probably heard of Bridgerton, the new series on Netflix that just can't stop growing in popularity! It may only have one season (and two more on the way), but let me tell you; it's one of my favorite shows! Did you know it was originally a book series? Every book follows a different Bridgerton sibling (and there's and abundance of them) and their own love story. If you've followed my blog for a while you know how much I love companion series'! Given, I've only read two, but I can't wait to read the rest! Since the series consists of companion novels, you can read them out of order. Sure, you might miss a few small details, but if there's a couple you don't like, you can easily skip their book. I've heard so much about Sarah J. Mass (mostly her Throne of Glass series) and I thought it was about time to check out one of her books. One of my favorite booktubers, readwithcindy, despises this series. I, on the other hand, loved it! Well, the first book. This series follows a human girl, Feyre, who has to provide for her father and two younger sisters. On a hunting trip for food, she kills a wolf who happens to be from another world. When Tamlin shows up to drag her to his kingdom as punishment, she gets thrown into a dangerous game. If she loses, not only is her family and Tamlin in trouble, but everyone's doomed. Lot's of writers will say they have a strong female character and not follow through, Sarah, on the other hand, did. Feyre's a strong female character who doesn't like being pushed around and I appreciated that. Even though she was thrown into a whole new world, she held her head high and did the best she could to survive. Her sisters, though, were ......

The Deal is written from both Hannah Wells' and Garrett Graham's points of view. Hannah Wells has a major crush on her university's football star, Jacob. He's mysterious, quiet, and doesn't have a new girl every night. Basically the polar opposite of hockey star Garrett Graham. He has to find a tutor when he fails his midterms and his GPA starts plummeting. After he notices Hannah was one of the few to ace the test, he thinks she's the perfect candidate for a tutor. Well, she disagrees. In order to convince Hannah to tutor him, he has to find out what she wants. When he finds out about her crush, he offers to help make him jealous.  Even though they don't get along right off the bat, they form an unlikely friendship. When they kiss and Garrett realizes he wants more, he has to pull out all the stops to make her realize they're meant to be. This book turned out to be one of my favorites. I had to wait a while to get this book, but it was totally worth it! I ordered it a few days before my trip and I have to admit I was a little anxious that it was arriving while I was gone. What if someone stole it? Luckily, when I got back a week later it was fine. Beautiful Disaster is about Abby who is trying to escape her sketchy past by going to Eastern University. A university far away from home. There, she becomes a 'good girl'. She doesn't drink or do drugs and quite frankly she'd like to keep it that way. In enters Travis. Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand. He gets loads of money from the fighting ring and is everything she needs to avoid in order to escape her past. Yet, of course, he gains interest in her the second she doesn't fall for his charms. So, they make a bet: If she wins, he remains abstinent for a month. But if he wins, she moves in with him for the same amount of time. Will feelings get involved? I mean, this is a romance n......

I was debating if I wanted to read this or not. I had heard many mixed reviews it, but I ended up deciding to read it because it's a big deal in the romance/contemporary world. I thought 'why the heck not.' It came in the mail and I left it on my desk for a few days before finally picking it up to read.     Anna and the French Kiss is about a girl named Anna (who would've guessed?) who is unexpectedly and unwillingly sent to a boarding school in France by her father. She's disappointed to miss her senior year with her friends, especially  after an amazing kiss with her long-time crush, but she ends up making some new friends pretty quickly. Enters  Étienne St. Clair, a charming guy who helps her settle into the area. I mean, she did just move to another country. I somehow found this book when looking for a different one on Book Outle t, and I'm not sad about it. While reading the book, I was thrown into many feelings - guilt, love, betrayal, and anger - on behalf of the character. Books that make you experience the character on a whole other level are always worth the read. For that, I thank Jenn Bennett. ...

She plans to start a bakery with her maid, Mary Ann, but her mom goes behind her back to get her to marry the king. On the night of a ball, the king planned to propose to Catherine, until the Jabberwock, a horrible creature, crashes in. When a disappearing cat named Cheshire notifies her that she was being pawned off to marry the king, she makes a plan with the king's mysterious Joker, Jest, to avoid the question. Jest and Catherine fall in love, but when they plan to run away from Hearts and go back to Jest's home, fate proves to have different plans. While some of those plans may seem good, most of them prove to be bad. I give this book four stars.
