I've heard so much about Sarah J. Mass (mostly her Throne of Glass series) and I thought it was about time to check out one of her books. One of my favorite booktubers, readwithcindy, despises this series. I, on the other hand, loved it! Well, the first book. This series follows a human girl, Feyre, who has to provide for her father and two younger sisters. On a hunting trip for food, she kills a wolf who happens to be from another world. When Tamlin shows up to drag her to his kingdom as punishment, she gets thrown into a dangerous game. If she loses, not only is her family and Tamlin in trouble, but everyone's doomed. Lot's of writers will say they have a strong female character and not follow through, Sarah, on the other hand, did. Feyre's a strong female character who doesn't like being pushed around and I appreciated that. First off, I can't believe I haven't reviewed this book yet. Let me start with a little bit of back story: I used to despise reading. I know, I know. It's hard to believe considering how into reading I am. My mom, being the reading specialist she is, would bring home books from the library trying to get my head into a book. She would PAY me to read!! She would bring home mostly fictional books that I thought were childish. I was, no, am extremely picky. Then, one day, she brought home a book that a librarian recommended called "Switched". I was already intrigued by the cover. It was blood red with a girl sitting in a field of flowers and the shadow of a castle in the background. I remember sitting on the bed in our guest bedroom, opening the book, and starting to read it. The first words I read were "When I was eleven, my mother was convinced I was a monster and tried to kill me." I was already in love. It was suspenseful and beautifully written. Of c......

Haunt Me was about a teenage girl who moved to a new house with her parents and sister and starts talking with a ghost named Joe who's been stuck in her new room. Erin and Joe work together to figure out what exactly happened to him and they start falling for each other. Meanwhile, she has to deal with problems at school and seeing Joe's brother, Olly, who used to be the king of the school until Joe's death. Not only is Erin falling for Joe she also starts feeling something for Olly. Will she end up telling Olly that she can see his dead brother? How will Joe and Erin deal with their feelings for each other? In the end, will she choose to be with Joe? or Olly? This book gave me so many mixed feelings. On one hand, I loved it! The story telling was great and the relationship between the main character and the brothers was insanely interesting. On the other hand, the ending was disappointing and felt rushed. I mean, I know she had to choose one brother, but it came and went ......
