SYNOPSIS
Nine Lives of Chloe King is about a teenage girl who discovers she’s a mai, but not only that, she’s a special mai. She has nine lives. When her best friends find out they join her in the fight to save her live(s). She falls in love with a human, Adam, and figures out she has a deadly kiss unless it’s a mai, and she does her best to stay away and keep him alive. During that, she starts to fall for another mai. She has to get through the danger and confusion, though, before she has time for a love life.
MY THOUGHTS
I give this book three stars because it’s a great book but the end leaves some questions unanswered. I suggest it to girls ages 15 and up.
